About Quantitative Solutions

Quantitative Solutions was founded in March of 2005 by Dr. Jaap Mandema, a renowned expert in the area of modeling and simulation in support of drug development decisions. The company has since grown and among its clients are some of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies, including 10 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies in the world.

Key advances in modeling and simulation have been triggered by utilizing available data in novel ways. We combine the rigor of PK/PD modeling with the richness of publicly available clinical trial data to derive powerful insights regarding specific development programs/trials in the context of the competitive landscape. Our ability to harness vast amount of summary clinical trial data, the depth and breadth of our modeling experience, as well as our service model put us in a unique position to provide solutions to some of the most difficult and complicated problems in drug development. We believe that publicly available clinical trial data represent an underutilized source of information in clinical development. In addition, we believe that the quality of information has a direct impact on the quality of decisions.
