Nitin Kaila, Ph.D.

Dr. Nitin Kaila joined Quantitative Solutions in January 2012 as Associate Director of Consulting Services in the East Coast Office. Dr. Kaila has over six years of experience in Modeling and Simulation at Novartis in East Hanover, NJ. Dr. Kaila was promoted through the ranks after joining as a modeler (2005) to senior modeler (2007) to expert modeler
(2010).

At Novartis, he led the execution of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic models for drug development decision-making and regulatory submissions. The focus of his work included compounds in therapeutic areas such as diabetes, cardiovascular, respiratory, and ophthalmic diseases.

Dr. Kaila has published reports, articles, abstracts and posters in peer-reviewed journals and conferences. He earned his PhD in Pharmacometrics from University of Minnesota (2005). Dr. Kaila also holds a Masters degree in Pharmaceutics from University of Toledo (2001) and Bachelors degree in Pharmacy (1998) from Meerut University in India.
