Neuropathic Pain Database
The current version of the database includes clinical safety and efficacy information on treatment options currently approved or in development for painful diabetic neuropathy (DPN), post herpetic neuralgia (PHN), or fibromyalgia. Information on older treatment options (such as tricyclic antidepressants) was included if they are used as active controls.
Drug therapies that are approved for the treatment of neuropathic pain or that have been evaluated for neuropathic pain include α2δ-ligands (gabapentin, pregabalin), opioids (morphine, oxycodone, tramadol), tricyclic antidepressants (amitriptyline, desipramine, nortriptyline), 5-HT and/or NE reuptake inhibitors (duloxetine, venlafaxine, reboxetine, fluoxetine, paroxetine) and antiepileptic drugs (lacosamide, topiramate, valproic acid, zonisamide, lamotrigine)
Our recently updated Neuropathic Pain Clinical Outcomes Database contains information from 63 trials, representing 179 unique treatment arms and about 17,800 patients. Download an information sheet for the NP database.
