Quantifying the World's Clinical Trial Efficacy, Tolerability, and Safety Information to Enable Good Drug Development Decisions

Why Use Our Databases?

Our clinical trial databases have proven highly valuable to our clients in support of model-based meta-analysis. Two main areas of application are comparative effectiveness and scaling of endpoints. The understanding gained from the analysis of these databases can be used to select an optimal dose, to quantify the benefits relative to competing treatment options, and to quantify the probability of success. A clear understanding of a new compound’s characteristics relative to competitors can also facilitate the decision to stop development.

We have built more than ten databases in the areas of CNS, cardiovascular, immunology, metabolic diseases, and pain. We believe that there are many advantages for our clients to utilize our databases instead of building their own, including:

  • QS databases are designed and managed by experienced modelers who are intimately familiar with strategic issues in the drug development for the specific therapeutic areas. These databases provide most relevant data to support client’s needs for quantitative decision making.
  • QS databases provide highest quality data on the market. Supported by multiple clients and updated on a continued basis, they go through a vigorous QC process as well as testing through various analyses by our modeling and simulation experts.
  • QS databases are kept up-to-date so that it is always readily available to provide timely analysis required to support critical clinical trial decisions
  • Clients can license the current, updated version of the database, or can request QS to provide database analysis on a fee-for-service basis.
  • Clients will obtain IP rights to all client-specific analysis based on the databases as well as on the proprietary portion of the database, thereby retaining the most valuable assets in-house.

We are expanding our databases into other therapeutic areas so clients are welcome to not only license the existing databases, but also to commence building new ones in areas that are most critical to their product portfolio. As we all know, the quality of information has a direct impact on the quality of decisions. With QS databases clients can rely on highest quality, up-to-date data at their fingertips to help inform important drug development decisions.
